Position: Occupational Health Advisor
Salary: circa £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, capable and pro-active Occupational Health Advisor based in Birmingham on a permanent full time basis.
My client is a UK based Occupational Health services provider who work in partnership with their clients to create a workplace culture that is passionate about Wellbeing.
They are looking for an Occupational Health Advisor who can provide a full on-site service to a client and deliver a comprehensive and effective Occupational Health service ensuring that high standards and quality standards are maintained.
As an Occupational Health Advisor you will be based in Birmingham undertaking the full Occupational Health remit.
As an Occupational Health Advisor you must be competent in the full Occupational Health remit although predominantly your role will include health assessments, medicals, health surveillance, sickness absence management, health promotion and wellness programmes.
As well as this you will give appropriate advice on the management of health and improvement of capabilities to management and clients as well as providing advice on health issues relating to the working environment and the implications of legislation.
You will also be responsible for periodics and drug and alcohol testing.
As an Occupational Health Advisor you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and will help to contribute to the development of the team through sharing knowledge and supporting and challenging peers.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity my client is looking for an Occupational Health Advisor that must be a Registered Nurse with ideally a standard qualification in Occupational Health and proven experience in Occupational Health.
For this Occupational Health Advisor role ideally you will be a Specialist Practitioner on part 3 of the nursing register.
I am looking for someone with outstanding case management and reporting writing skills.
As an Occupational Health Advisor you need to be able to work with minimal supervision, be a confident clinical decision maker and be able to provide advice to clients.
You must be confident with presentations and IT literate.
You will need to have high standards of discretion and confidentiality and have high self-motivation and be able to work of your own initiative.
The role offers a generous salary of circa £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus generous benefits as well as long term employment stability and progression.
