Position: Occupational Health Technician
Salary: circa £18,000 per annum
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, capable and pro-active Occupational Health Technician based in Derbyshire on a permanent part time basis.
This is a part time Occupational Health Technician role working 2 -3 days per week.
My client is a UK based Occupational Health services provider who work in partnership with their clients to create a workplace culture that is passionate about Wellbeing.
They are looking for an Occupational Health Technician who can provide on-site services to range of clients and deliver a comprehensive and effective Occupational Health service ensuring that high standards and quality standards are maintained.
As an Occupational Health Technician you will be based in Derby undertaking a wide range of health surveillance services.
There is regular travel involved in this Occupational Health Technician role and you will be required to drive a mobile health unit and be willing to stay overnight when necessary.
As an Occupational Health Technician you will undertake agreed clinical activities such as phlebotomy, taking blood pressures, health promotion, drug and alcohol screening and health surveillance.
As well as this you will provide Drivers medicals, Well Person medicals and any other service that may be required.
As the Occupational Health Technician you will undertake workplace visits, infection and immunity screening.
The Occupational Health Technician will work on an autonomous basis.
As an Occupational Health Technician you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and will help to contribute to the development of the team through sharing knowledge and supporting and challenging peers.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity my client is looking for an experienced Occupational Health Technician.
Ideally you will have experience in audiometry, spirometry, phlebotomy as well as HAV's tier 1 and 2.
I am looking for someone with good interpersonal skills who can build, maintain and develop business relationships.
As an Occupational Health Technician you need to be able to work with minimal supervision, be a confident clinical decision maker and be able to provide advice to clients.
You must be IT literate.
The role offers a generous salary of circa £18,000 per annum plus generous benefits as well as long term employment stability and progression.
