Calling all New Graduates interested in specialising in Intensive Care
Cpl Healthcare in partnership with Queen Elizabeth University NHS Hospital in Birmingham is looking to recruit New Graduates with a genuine interest in specialising in the area of Intensive Care. Interested graduates just need to have a genuine interest in specialising in Critical Care. Full training, supervision and mentorship will be provided to you. Interviews will be taking place in Dublin on 24th August 2016.
This is an amazing opportunity for New Graduates. The ICU Department is the largest in Europe having a total of 100 beds in the department. Typically you will be caring for patients post large surgeries, those who have deteriorated on the ward and trauma patients as QEHB is a major Trauma Patient of the region.
The Trust has a total of 1215 beds and leads with advances in technology and service developments, and is also the Major Trauma Centre for the area, accepting a large number of critical care admissions for the region’s Air Ambulance. The Theatre Department comprises of 42 Theatres, catering for inpatients and day cases, and covers all specialities. The hospital is the Regional Centre for Oncology, Trauma, Critical Care, Burns & Plastics.
Birmingham City is situated in the West Midlands of England. With an area of 80 square miles and a population of over one million people, Birmingham is England’s second city and one of the largest cities in Europe. The redeveloped Bullring shopping centre along with the award-winning Water's Edge development at Brindle place has created a vibrant and dynamic city centre that offers an excellent alternative to London.
Interested candidates must
- Qualified or qualifying as a Registered General Nurse
- Eligible for full NMC registration
- Genuine interest in specialising in Critical Care
- Interested in relocating to the vibrant city of Birmingham (35 mins from Dublin).
