Mental Health Staff Nurse-Adult Acute

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Mental Health Staff Nurse to join our client's team, at their hospital site located in a leafy and comfortable western suburb of Birmingham , between the city centre and Smethwick.

This is a full-time post but we are also interested in applicants looking for a part-time opportunity.

Our client is a major provider of independent mental health care in the UK, providing an exceptional standard of care to improve patients' health and wellbeing, and in particular developing programmes that are individually tailored to patient's needs. Adult Acute Service users are given the opportunity to develop new skills and improve their quality of life, moving towards full independence and reintegration into the community wherever possible.

The successful candidate will undertake and manage direct patient care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs.

Person Requirements:

Registered Mental Health Nurse with full registration with the NMC .

A minimum of two year's relevant post-registration experience; Adult Acute experience is desirable.

Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
