The Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of Mental Health issues both as inpatients and day patients. Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with Acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol and also has specialist Eating Disorders and Aspergers units. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.
We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Ward Manager to work alongside our dedicated nursing team. For this post you will have proven leadership skills along with a strong drive to develop the nursing team and the Adult Autistic Spectrum Disorder Service. The successful candidate will need to have relevant experience in an inpatient environment, along with staff management and supervision experience. Excellent communication skills are essential along with the ability to input into the wider development of the service and the hospital. Knowledge and experience of working with individuals with autism would be desirable.
The Ward Manager will report directly into the Director of Clinical Services and will be responsible for ensuring that the nursing team on our Adult Autistic Spectrum ward possess the skills, knowledge and motivation to offer and deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. Further to this, the successful candidate will also participate in direct patient care whilst coordinating the quality of care throughout the ward, alongside the administrative requirements of the role.
