Hays is pleased to be working with a national insurance provider, looking for an experienced General Nurse to join them as a Medical Advisor. This is a full- time, permanent role (Mon- Fri, 9-5) based in an office in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. This is commutable from London, Luton, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and other surrounding areas.
Working in a team of Claims Advisors, you will manage a caseload of accident and sickness claims, assessing their validity in line with your core medical knowledge. Within this process, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other medical professionals and alongside the claimant, gathering information to allow you to write letters and medical reports, arrange further assessments and record any information relevant to the claim.
This role is suited to an experienced General Nurse, with a broad- based level of clinical knowledge and the ability to use their clinical judgement autonomously.
