The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide a high standard of care using advanced autonomous clinical skills. They will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of the patient and the service.

The post holder will demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills and experience and will support the nursing team and allied health professionals through an effective clinical supervision and peer review programme.

The post holder will work with the service manager and clinical lead to deliver robust clinical governance and the fulfilment of the service contract.

The post holder will establish and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders including the commissioners of the service and the wider Virgin Care family.

In order to work at this level, NMC requirements for Advanced Practice must be met.

Please note:

A&E or primary care back ground. ENP or ANP.

Experience working with children

Independent Prescriber

Can be flexible in terms of hours (Part time or full time)
