A small, independent healthcare provider based in the South East is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Mental Health Nurse to work in their facility situated near Reigate as Deputy Ward Manager.

This facility provides psychiatric rehabilitation for service users who are experiencing on-going difficulties and are not making rapid recoveries, providing support and therapeutic treatment to enable progression whilst regaining confidence to enable them to return to life in the community.

As Deputy Ward Manager, you will work closely with the Clinical Ward Manager, acting as Primary Nurse and taking responsibility for the clinical leadership and supervision of the clinical and support teams.

Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with NMC pin

• Demonstrate previous clinical and leadership experience

• Well organised with strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to leadership

• Flexible to work a rolling rota that includes weekends and long shifts on days and nights

This position offers rates of pay of up to £16.80 per hour and has a 37.5 hour working week.
