Mental Health Nurse Advisor, Permanent, salary, £28k £36k, Full time or part-time, Salford Quays

The Role

You will be a qualified clinician amongst a team of specialist support member service advisors who will be the clinical escalation point for the management of complex cases, clinical queries through both telephone and written formats.

You will be expected to safely manage crisis calls, complete telephone risk assessments and signpost.

You will develop a close clinical relationships with service users and will conduct training sessions with the team and the business as a whole.

Specific Skills

RMN registered (with post qualification experience in the NHS)

NHS Band 5/6 and able to demonstrate a range of knowledge and experience working within an inpatient setting, community and have good knowledge of therapy services.

Knowledge of the treatment pathways specific to service user requirements

Good IT skills; be able to navigate around Microsoft Office and happy to spend a large amount of time computer facing

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Good organisational and leadership skills

Good training skills

Confident to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to manage change effectively

Strong telephone assessment skills
