I am actively recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Learning Disability Nurse Assessor for one of my leading clients based in the Midlands. They are looking for a Learning Disability Nurse Assessor initially on a 4 month contract with a view to an extension.
The Learning Disability Nurse Assessor must have the following skills and experiences:
- The successful candidate will have experience of doing continuing healthcare assessments on patients with learning disabilities
- Dealing with a Backlog of cases relating to Learning Disability patients
- DST's and CHC assessments for patients eligible for Continuing Healthcare
- Doing 1-2 cases per day
- Present assessments to panel
- Work closely with the MDT teams
- Liaise with Social workers
