Night Nursing Co-ordinator (Band 6) - Mental Health
Location: Roehampton Hospital, SW15

Vacancy Type: Permanent - Full Time

Salary: £30,000 to £38,400 per annum plus enhancements & benefits

Hours: 37.5 per week - overtime available

About the role
Night Nurse Co-ordinator.
This role involves the co-ordination of the quality and management of nursing care
patient care and the clinical environment plus responsibility for staffing
participating fully with the multidisciplinary team
undertaking direct patient care.

you'll also use your expertise and ideas to help us continually evolve best practice and set new standards
The successful candidate will be responsible for the night management of the hospital coordinating staffing levels, supporting nursing and support staff in the implementation of treatment plans and where necessary assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient programmes of care thus acting as a role model of good nursing practice
Further responsibilities also include promoting and facilitating Clinical Audits and the management of Clinical Risk, as well as effective incident management, analysis and reporting
A working knowledge of MHA, code of Practice and comply with the legal requirements is required.

Person specification:
RMN qualified
patient centric with a commitment to delivering high quality care
Finely tuned decision-making skills, communication skills and organisational capacity are a must
flexibility and can-do attitude will enable our patients to build on their existing strengths and feel positive about their lives
minimum of two year's post registration experience and evidence of continuous professional development
gained experience working as the senior nurse on duty (SNOD)
