Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) - Mental Health Hospital - Nottinghamshire - £21,918 - £33,657 per annum depending on experience + Golden Hello bonus of £2,100

37.5 hours per week

Shift patterns: including weekends, bank holidays and nights

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) to join a mental health hospital in Nottinghamshire. This hospital cares for male and female patients, with a range of mental health and learning difficulties.

The service manager is ideally looking for a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) who has experience within this environment, however will consider a nurse who has a keen interest working in adult mental health.

The role of the Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) will include:

-Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
-Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
-Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
-Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
-You'll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

As a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) you'll need:

-Be a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD)
-Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
-A current registration with the NMC
-The legal right to work in the UK
-A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
-The drive to continually push your own personal learning and development
