Clinical Services Manager/ Deputy Manager - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire
Up to £43,134 per annum + paid breaks + excellent benefits
Flexible shift pattern as part of the senior management team
Monday - Friday; shifts usually 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm.

My client is looking for a Clinical Services Manager to head up all clinical activity and promote clinical excellence within the facility, reporting to the Home Manager you will have direct responsibility for the overall clinical performance of the general nursing unit and the staff across units; working alongside and very closely with the Home Manager you will also be supported by the unit managers, a team of well trained staff nurses and long standing care staff.

The facility is of average side and has 32 beds but provides a large amount of residential care with 20-25 nursing beds at any one time; the service would benefit from a strong clinical leader with excellent knowledge of CQC policies and procedures. In turn you will be supported by a home manager, area manager and regional manager.

Your experience and clinical skills will benefit not only the residents you care for but will be largely supernumerary and lean towards the development of your colleagues and promotion of the home and improving clinical processes whilst putting in place strong systems to ensure documentation, medication and clinical care all flows smoothly.

This exciting opportunity is full time with 1 in 4 weekend cover to be worked which is rotational between all management within the facility; there is an attractive salary on offer of up to £43,134 per annum plus an impressive benefits package and paid breaks.

Many Clinical Managers go on to manage their own homes or gain area manager/troubleshooting roles within the company and see internal progression happen very quickly, the manager of this facility also started as a staff nurse themselves.

This is an excellent position for a registered nurse with a valid NMC pin with 1st line management experience to take the next step into senior management with a wealth of support and training ready for a future in home management.
