An excellent opportunity has arisen within a private hospital near Tunbridge Wells for an experienced Nurse Manager to work as Matron/Head of Clinical Services, providing clinical leadership and operational management throughout the hospital.

As Matron you will take the lead on clinical strategies within the hospital, supporting the business strategy and ensuring a patient focused and cost efficient service is maintained with no compromise on quality of care. Duties of this position will also include deputising for the Hospital Director in their absence.

Applicants for this Matron/Head of Clinical Services position should meet the following specification:

• Level 1 Adult/General Nurse (RGN) with up to date NMC registration

• Extensive experience in complex surgical services and paediatrics

• Proven experience as a Clinical Head of Department , demonstrating confidence and competence in providing clinical leadership and line management

• Experienced in managing budgets, resources and performance

This is a full time position with a 37.5 hour working week which will predominantly be day shifts, although in this senior position a degree of flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the hospital.

The salary offered for this position is £53,000 per annum.
