My NHS clients across London are now offering 3-6 month contracts within Continuing Healthcare departments to carry out assessments in Hospitals, out in the Community, Nursing Homes, Care Homes and Patient Own Homes. They are currently looking for Registered General Nurses, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Registered Childrens Nurses and Registered Learning Disability Nurses
To be considered for Continuing Healthcare roles you must have the below experience:
- You must be a Registered Continuing Healthcare Nurse to be considered for Nurse Assessor roles
- As a Continuing Healthcare Nurse Assessor you must be able to demonstrate that you are able to carry out assessments in line with the Continuing Healthcare framework
- You must have experience of collating your findings into a report which is then presented to panel
- To be a successful Continuing Healthcare Nurse Assessor you must have previously carried out DST's (Decision support tool)
