Care UK are recruiting for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to assist in the provision of a quality service to patients contacting the Practice Assist Hub either on a full time or part time basis working flexible shifts to suit you - Monday to Friday - no weekends and no bank holidays! Practice Assist is an innovative service within Primary Care which is designed to help GP practices by providing the additional resource required to deliver the access patients need. Patients who are managed over the phone receive a complete telephone consultation with a registered GP in the UK. If required, patients will receive a prescription sent directly to a pharmacy of their choice. Our Practice Assist hub is based in Southall, West London and is open Monday - Friday 8am-8pm. We can offer flexible and split shifts, making this role an excellent choice for a work-life balance!!
Is this you?
You will need to be an autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner with experience ideally within a GP Practice or Primary Care Environment and hold a nurse prescribing qualification. You will be responsible for assessing patients, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals / external agencies, you will have full access to patient records as if in the GP Surgery and this will include prescribing for patients as required. The role requires an individual to have the ability to work effectively as part of a multi professional team within a fast pace environment, in line with the protocols and policies of the GP Surgeries aligned to the Hub and Care UK.

In return, we can offer an attractive salary of up to £68kpa (pro rata on a part time basis) depending on experience + benefits package. We can be flexible to fit around you! This role would be considered as either a full time, part time or flexible position on either a permanent or bank basis depending on your requirements and can be flexible shifts Monday- Friday - No weekends or Bank holiday's!! After a probation period this role can also be considered as a home working role for the right candidate! And if this means you are worried you will miss patient facing contact... we can offer an opportunity to keep that as part of your role too! we can offer portfolio contracts where you can work across our Out of Hours and Urgent Care Services also.
