Position: Occupational Health Advisor
Location: North West
Salary: up to £38,000 per annum
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, confident, capable, and charismatic Occupational Health Advisor to join a renowned and respected private company on a permanent basis.
There is the option for this to be on a full or part time basis.
This is an in-house role working for a multi-national energy, planning and environmental company who have offices across the world.
My client provides high quality Occupational Health services and risk management across all industries and businesses across the UK.
I am looking for an Occupational Health Advisor who will ensure the delivery of a first class leading service in the supply of case management, health surveillance, health screening and health promotion.
You will be the the face of quality & service for my client and will be responsible for the advice given. You will also be expected to support business development and support growth by identifying and helping with new clients.
As an Occupational Health Advisor you will be based on site in the North West near Warrington. Although this job may also include some adhoc travel to other sites in the North West.
The Occupational Health Advisor will be responsible for delivering the Occupational Health service in a cost effective manner whilst helping to develop policies and procedures with your clients.
As the Occupational Health Advisor you will need to be competent in the full Occupational Health remit although you will undertake predominantly case management (sickness absence and rehabilitation including facilitation of case conference and fast-track referrals) and health surveillance.
To be considered for this Occupational Health Advisor role I am looking for a Registered General Nurse with solid experience in Occupational Health.
You will need to be experienced in all aspects of health surveillance/screening procedures and a willingness to undertake any training for the role.
My client is looking for a candidate who has a high degree of self management, self motivation and ability to work alone or as part of a team and an Occupational Health Advisor who has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Candidates should be experienced GMC registered Occupational Health professionals with expertise across a full and varied remit.
You must be a Member of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (MFOM).
Ideally you will be a HSE appointed doctor, although this is not necessary.
The role offers a generous salary of up £38,000 per annum plus benefits such as holidays (and an option to purchase more), company pension scheme, share incentive scheme, life assurance, cycle to work scheme, childcare vouchers
