Position - Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD)- Mental Health & Learning Disability- Bradford

Salary - Salary £26,500 - £30,000 per annum £1500 welcome bonus (£500 on day one; £1000 after 12 months)
Permanent Position - 40 hours per week
My client provide an assessment and treatment service in their purpose built hospital. This is a small unit that is suitable for informal patients and those detained under the Mental Health Act.
By bringing together the expertise of a full multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry, psychology and occupational therapy, they provide a safe and therapeutic environment for service users to support them to make sufficient progress and become suitable for discharge as quickly as possible.
As a member of the Nurse Team, you shall have responsibility for co-ordinating the day-to-day delivery of care to patients by leading shifts and delegating tasks to support workers.
You shall also be responsible for assisting the hospital multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate packages of care, including risk assessments for each patient.
Based in the local community, The Hospital provides assessment, treatment and fast stream
rehabilitation for nine adults with a learning disability.
Summary of responsibilities
Ensure all statutory and registration requirements are met within the hospital.
Ensure all corporate policy and procedure is observed within the hospital.
Maintain and continually improve communication for all staff.
Assist with the ongoing development of protocols relating to the assessment and treatment of service users.
Ensure that a comprehensive service is delivered by making and reviewing work, establishing priorities, coordinating activities, and resolving work problems.
Continually review and develop services in line with researched and evidenced based practice.
Assist in the promotion of continuous quality improvements through the setting of standards, monitoring and evaluation of practice through the use of audit.
Communicate and liaise with mental health and other agencies and professionals as required.
Attend all induction and continued professional development throughout your time with the company.
Attend and actively participate in meetings and functions as necessary and take minutes when requested to do so.
Carry out ad hoc responsibilities as requested.
You will be a qualified RNLD/RMN, with a proven track record of working within a similar service (either during your recent training or as a nurse with many years experience) and be looking to develop your career within the sector.
You will have good staff management and organizational skills.
You will also be able to demonstrate sound clinical skills and be familiar with CQC, Mental Health Act and other regulations and how to apply them.
You will have good presentation and report writing skills as you would be expected to with care management teams and other professionals within a multidisciplinary environment.
You will need to demonstrate experience of leading others, including leading by example, delegating tasks efficiently and being able to encourage people to perform their best.
You will be willing to work on a shift basis as specified by the rota.
