Position: Occupational Health Physician
Salary: Circa: £90,000 - £120,000 pro rata
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and capable Occupational Health Physician based in South Devon on a part time, permanent basis.
This is a part time position, 3 4 days per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Health Physician to join an expanding Occupational Health organization to assist with their client retention and improving their customer satisfaction.
As the Occupational Health Physician you will be based in Cambridgeshire in an autonomous position.
In this role you will be working closely with the OH Manager. You will be expected to deal with Occupational Health issues for employers from pre-employment through sickness and absence management to ill health retirement, as well as provide clinical and medical advice.
You will undertake predominantly management referrals and conduct clinical assessments such as absence and rehabilitation medical assessments, health surveillance and pre-employment medicals.
In this Occupational Health Physician role you will also offer strategic support for health promotion and wellness when required.
You would also be expected to offer recommendations and operational advice and assist with some clinical governance.
As an Occupational Health Physician you will act as CMO on the contracts you work on advising on policy, general health advice and absence management strategies.
You will ensure compliance with procedures and ensure standards are met as well as preparing/ reviewing Occupational Health policies and procedures.
To be successful in this Occupational Health Physician role you are required to be GMC registered and must hold MFOM qualification.
