Clinical Unit Manager - Dudley
£32,000 - £33,000 per annum (£15.50 - £16.00 per hour) + paid breaks + benefits
40 hours per week - Days only
One of the industry's largest healthcare groups is looking for a Clinical Unit Manager to join their site in Dudley, this is a varied site providing nursing care and nursing management services to a large bedded nursing home providing general nursing, specialist dementia and care for the physically disabled with an interim unit EAB for NHS patients.
The role offers an excellent rate of pay which is negotiable dependant on experience, your contracted hours are set at 40 hours per week and your role is fully supernumerary enabling you to complete all paperwork, audits, inductions and recruitment functions for your unit. You will be assisted by senior nurses, a clinical manager, and a home manager, a regional home manager and an area manager.
Your role as Clinical Unit Manager will be to oversee and support a 20 bedded nursing unit coordinating nursing and care staff in all regulatory standards set out by CQC alongside key duties such as:
-Evaluating and development of patient programmes and care
-Managing care assessment process
-Quality assurance and regulatory compliance
-Nursing team management
-Ensuring all mandatory training and inductions are complete
-Completing staff supervisions
-Provide safe processes for the ordering, administration and disposal of drugs
-Report all compliments, comments and complaints
