An independently owned nursing home in central Manchester is currently looking to recruit an experienced Nurse Manager to lead and develop the team and service, working in the post of Home Manager.

This service is registered to provide general nursing, disability and dementia nursing care packages to adults of working age and the elderly and provides a safe and stimulating environment for residents to enjoy.

Applicants for this Home Manager position should meet the following specification:

• Nurse qualified as an Adult/General Nurse (RGN) with up to date NMC registration

• Prior experience as a Care Home Manager, with a proven track record of success

• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Good knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements and quality standards and their implementation

• Confident providing clinical leadership and line management

• Flexible to meet the needs of the service

In this role you will take overall responsibility for the management and direction of the home, driving forward improvements and raising standards of care. You will manage staff, budgets and resources and will act as proactive, positive leader.

The salary offered for this Home Manager position is from £45,000 to £50,000 per annum and it is a full time role with a 40 hour week.
