About Surrey OOH
We are recruiting for permanent Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) with Prescribing to join our team working for the OOH service in Surrey on a full or part time basis. The Surrey Out of Hours Service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS Patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP Surgery is closed. Surrey OOH operates from a number of locations throughout Surrey with their main base being located in Dorking. This is a permanent role and we have full or part time positions available. Full time is 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis. Dependent on experience and shifts worked the salary for this role is circa £35 p/hour. We also offer 25 days annual leave + 8 public holidays (Pro-Rata for part time), Contributory pension scheme 2-5%. In this role you will be responsible for delivering face-to-face and telephone services enabling patients to obtain health advice from the appropriate health care professional. You will hold a Nurse Prescribing certificate and be competent to prescribe for patients and be responsible for providing an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public accessing urgent care services. You will have the highest clinical standards, and you really care for the people you’re treating...
You will be: A qualified RN A recognised Nurse prescriber Skilled in triage and minor illness In turn, you’ll have time to take full advantage of our training opportunities too, whether you want to diversify your clinical skills or move into management.
