About the Client:
My client is the UK's largest private children's hospital with a 10 bed dedicated intensive care unit, 46 paediatric beds and 155 consultant paediatricians.
Your role as the Infection Control Nurse will be extremely hands on. You will work alongside all teams in the hospital monitoring the performance of each unit relating to infection prevention.
You will educate and motivate and also develop the infection control policies, reviewing and improving them at every opportunity.
You will analyse and evaluate the clinical significance of microbiological data and the implications for infection control practice. You will then interpret the relevance of laboratory reports to clinical staff as required
About the Individual:
In order to be successful in your application for the role of Infection Control Nurse you will need to be NMC registered with a Diploma in Infection control.
Experience within this field is essential as well as experience working at a senior level, leading a team.
