Nursing Home Manager

Salary £45,000 - £50,000 based on experience
Purosearch are currently looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead and develop a dynamic team in the delivery of high-quality care and service in this well-established 45 bed Nursing Home in the Old Trafford area of Manchester. This is a fantastic time to join my client as a Nursing Home Manager as the company have a reputation as an excellent employer within the North West care sector.
On starting this new role the Nursing Home manager will take on a Nursing home currently rated as Requires Improvement by CQC however my client feel that the home is meeting the stanards of GOOD based on their own internal auditing. The majority of the Nursing Homes in the group are Good rated CQC inspections and this is the companies benchmark. There are no safeguardings, no issues with the local authority and the home is fully staffed and very settled. My client are looking for a Nursing Home Manager who can continue to sustain the work already done and to maintain systems implemented by the previous Nursing Home Manager.
As the Nursing Home Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the nursing home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. The Nursing Home Manager will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community and with Liverpool City Council ensuring the high reputation of the Nursing home is communicated to potential residents and referrers.
Residents and their families expect great services, so the Nursing Home Manager will be expected to provide hands-on support and strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. The Nursing Home Manager will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents' care and social needs are met in a person-centred way. The Nursing Home Manager will be expected to develop the nursing home with a strong, existing team, so you must be confident in presenting your vision and creative ideas for the nursing home and support the team to build on the excellent work already done at the home.
As Nursing Home Manager you will engage with Divisional and Regional initiatives to support growth of the business and lead your team in Liverpool to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You must also ensure the nursing home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including CQC, health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.
