A small, locally based care home located on the borders of Slough and Maidenhead currently requires an experienced Nurse Manager with Care Home Management experience to lead and develop the service.

This home provides general elderly nursing care to older people and provides excellent standards of care and quality of life to service users.

Applicants for this Home Manager position should meet the following criteria:

• Extensive experience as a Care Home Manager, with a proven track record of success

• Nurse qualified as an Adult/General Nurse (RGN),Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a valid NMC pin

• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Good knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements and quality standards

• Ideally you will be available to start as soon as possible to enable a comprehensive handover with the outgoing Manager, to ensure continuity of service and minimal disruption

As Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the clinical and operational management of the home, providing effective clinical leadership and line management. You will work to maintain the already high standards in the home and will identify and act upon areas where improvements can be made.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. The competitive salary offered is £45,000 per annum and staff benefits includes a company pension scheme and support and funding for NMC revalidation.
