We are looking for a Clinical manager to join our team in Dorking and work as the PSL Clinical Supervisor with the PSL team. This is a great opportunity for a Nurse or Paramedic with leadership experience to step into a Monday-Friday role and have the responsibility of managing a small team, as well as being involved in the bid processes & liaising with commissioners. You will be responsible for providing supervision to the Health Advisors during the PSL service hours and provide training, coaching and monitoring. Your clinical knowledge and skills will be used daily in discussions with consultants and clinical leaders within the call centre. You will also support the HA's and have the ability to recognise when a pathway is wrong/needs amendment and provide your advice and take action on this.

Registered Nurse or State Registered Paramedic
1. Provide training for the Health Advisors in the use of Adastra and DOS or other soft ware agreed by the provider. 2. Maintain communication link between different operational staff and other Managers/Supervisors 3. Provide a full induction and training for the new Health Advisors to the PSL service 4. Contribute to the documenting of full training records for Health Advisors 5. To provide coaching to Health Advisors 6. To conduct audits 7. To participate with investigation of complaints as requested by the Lead Clinician and Service Director 8. Develop and work in partnership with the call centre manager and rota team to ensure the PSL service is appropriately staffed at all times 9. Ensure Health Advisors are updated regularly regarding changes to pathways/policy/procedures or new business. 10. Ensure Operational Manuals (procedures and training) are kept up to date. 11. Act as a role model at all times 12. Participate when required in Care UK activities outside the Call Centre 13. Adhere to Care UK Policies and Procedures at all times 14. Support the investigation of complaints and serious untoward incidents
• Understand the role of a referral management centre • Strong understanding community services required for admission avoidance. • Understanding of patient management in a variety of settings setting • Strong understanding of legal / professional implications of independent practice This role will sit within the PSL team in our Dorking Out of Hours site. The role is full time Monday-Friday and up to £38,500pa depending on experience. All offers are subject to satisfactory references and DBS checks.
