Registered Mental Health Nurse RMN or Registered Learning Disability Nurse RNLD –


£24,500 per annum with additional benefits

The Service -

Our client provides care and support for people who have Learning Disabilities with physical healthcare needs within a nursing home environment. The service is located within the countryside providing a therapeutic environment for the service users. Care is delivered in a person centred way, always putting the service user at the fore front of what they do.

Job description and requirements -

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse RMN or Registered Learning Disability Nurse RNLD to work as part of the Multi – disciplinary team

To maintain professional registration and undertake continuing professional development.

To be able to demonstrate being an Ethical Practitioner

To comply with all NMC codes and standards, current legislation, local policy including Mental Health Act etc

Effective Communication with the patients, their families, friends and visitors, advocates, external agencies and actively participate in meetings as required.

Process of Care - Contribute to assessing, monitoring and evaluating individual care plans, and positively manage risk.

Effective Teamwork – Be an Effective team player, contribute to the development of Health Care Workers.

Leadership/Management – Lead a shift under direction, supervising a team of residential support workers.

Delegate as required, act as a positive role model.

Ability to:

Work on own initiative as well as part of a team

Work under pressure

Manage own time effectively

Organise and prioritise tasks effectively

Prepare and produce relevant and accurate reports

Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, company and staff information

Demonstrate a good level of computer literacy
