A large care home in North East Bristol currently has a vacancy for an experienced Registered Nurse with extensive experience in care homes to work as Deputy Manager.

In this Deputy Manager role you will support the Registered Manager in the clinical and operational management of the home and this is a fully supernumerary position.

You will be joining a large home that provides nursing care packages to a diverse client group, catering to older and younger adults and providing disability, dementia and general nursing care.

Working hours for this post are 40 per week on day shifts and as Deputy Manager you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum.

Applicants for this Deputy Manager position should meet the following specification:

• Adult/General Nurse (RGN) or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with up to date NMC registration

• From a strong background in care homes, with managerial or leadership experience

• Good knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements and quality standards

• Able to provide effective clinical leadership and line management to a strong team
