Trainee OHA Blackburn

Trainee Occupational Health Advisor – Blackburn, North & Central Manchester - 3-5 Days Per Week

Due to expansion, PAM OH Solutions is looking to employ a Trainee Occupational Health Advisor to cover Blackburn and the North Manchester area. This role would suit someone who is looking to train to become an Occupational Health Advisor, as we will provide full training and support.

The post is for at least 3-5 days per week and you will provide Occupational Health Services and Support to our public and private sector clients.

The role will initially involve mainly screening nurse work, developing into case management. The main screening nurse responsibilities are;

• Pre-employment Health Screening

• Health Promotion

• Driver Medicals

• Spirometry Testing

• Audiometric screening

• Vaccinations

• Medical examination for screening purposes e.g blood pressure, eye tests, urine sample BMI ETC

• Drug and alcohol screening

• Lung function screening

The ideal candidate will have the following:


• Hold a valid NMC Pin

• Have experience of working with an Occupational Health role, either as a Nurse or an Advisor

• Experience of Audiometric screening and Vaccinations.

• Excellent Communication skills
