Location: Fife, FK10
Hours: Full time/ Permanent - 39.5hrs, nights
Salary: £24,000+

About our Client
Our client is a luxury 63 bedded Nursing Home in Kincardine on Forth, FK10. They provide services for specialist Nursing and Dementia care but they also have units for Learning Disability and Mental Illnesses.
The units within the home are fully equipped to meet the care needs of residents. The dementia unit has been designed to ensure that residents are able to move freely and safely, with bedrooms and communal areas appropriately laid out and clearly signposted to minimise confusion or disorientation.

The Role:
·Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the resident's needs.
·Create and maintain with the home's staff an environment in which all members of staff can contribute to the maximum of their ability in providing a high standard of skilled nursing care to the residents and encourage recognition of the resident as an Individual.
·Enable residents to live a fuller life style within the nature of their capability.
·Demonstrate awareness of how clinical procedures related to resident's care are carried out and administered to maintain their well-being and to prevent symptoms of ill being.
·Demonstrate dissemination of information and reporting to Manager.
·Recognise the legal implications of nursing documentation.
·Be aware of demonstrate relevant statutory legislation and company policies and procedures e.g. CS Act, NMC guidelines and Health and Safety.
·Adhere to all procedures implemented in the Home and demonstrate understanding in practice.
·Assess, implement and evaluate care for the residents.
*Candidates must be NMC Registered Nurse with an active PIN number*
Skills and Abilities
Candidates will have the ability to work as part of a team, to follow guidelines and policies and be actively involved in their own personal development. They will have effective leadership and organisational skills, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to motivate and develop a team, and be able to problem solve and initiate change. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work across a professional team and organisational boundaries, to delegate and prioritise and have the ability for safe receiving, ordering, handling and administration of drugs.
