Ward Manager - Mental health - Male Secure unit

Salary up to £38k per annum

We are delighted to represent a leading national mental health provider in their recruitment of a Ward Manager for a male immediate secure ward. The role is based with a medium sized hospital site and benefits from strong multi-professional senior management leadership and an excellent local reputation making the hospital a top performing service for the group.

The role offers a good mix of supernumerary and floor hours to ensure that you are able to both lead and manage your clinical team within the ward and deliver quality information and support to improve service performance.

This is a role that offers the opportunity to lead a team of experience clinicians, improve and innovate within the service whilst delivering real outcomes for patients who where possible are able to follow a structured care pathway from initial admission through low secure services and onto community. As the service supports forensic clients length of stay can vary from short to long term.

In order to be considered for this appointment you will need the following

  • Nurse qualified with current PIN essential - RMN or RNLD
  • RGN candidates with extensive secure experienced considered
  • Evidence of continuous CPD and advanced practice
  • Experienced in management of clinical teams
