A small care home in the Romsey area which provides general nursing care currently requires an experienced Registered Nurse with extensive managerial experience in an elderly care environment to work as Home Manager.
This service has a wide range of facilities for residents to enjoy, including extensive gardens and state of the art equipment and provides elderly, respite and palliative care to service users.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
• Qualified and registered with the NMC as an Adult/General Nurse (RGN)
• Proven experience in elderly care in a managerial role
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Current working knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements and quality standards in the care home sector, with proven experience raising
As Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the clinical and operational management of the care home, ensuring excellent standards of care are achieved and maintaining good levels of occupancy. You will effectively manage staff, budgets and resources and will promote best practices in all aspects of the service.
An excellent salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum is offered for this full time role.
