A leading private healthcare service provider currently has an opportunity for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join the Operating Theatre Department in their hospital in the Harlow area.

As Theatre Practitioner, you will support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department, providing high quality planned care for patients during the pre, peri and post-operative phases of care.

Applicants for this Theatre Practitioner role should be/have:

• Qualified as an Adult/General Nurse (RGN) with up to date NMC registration or qualified as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with HCPC registration

• Ideally have experience in anaesthetics, scrub and recovery settings, however applicants specialising in one area of Theatre are also encouraged to apply

• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Experienced in working with a varied patient mix and applying clinical reasoning skills

The salary offered for a Theatre Practitioner is from £28,000 to £33,000 per year depending on experience and working hours are 37.5 per week on day or night shifts.
