• Increase your skills in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology
• Full-time and part-time options available (from 0.4 to 0.9 FTE)
Working on Wards 27A and B you’ll provide complex oncology and haematology care for children and young people from throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific. You’ll have the opportunity to develop expertise in the care of patients receiving a variety of treatments such as blood product support, chemotherapy and palliative care. We offer a comprehensive orientation package backed up with strong support from the senior nursing team, and an opportunity to gain huge personal and professional rewards in this exciting specialty.
We’re looking for experienced registered nurse with an interest in paediatric oncology/haematology wanting to increase their skills in this specialty. Paediatric nursing experience would be beneficial in addition to well-developed communication, critical thinking skills and a commitment to family centred care. • You must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold a current APC
• You need to have at least two year’s nursing experience
