MEDICAL PHONE NURSE ADVISOR -CENTRAL LONDON REQURIED URGENTLY
This is a fantastic opportunity in Central London, for a nurse adviser. Case manger to come on board and really use their case management skills along with their nursing skills. The main part of this job is to liaise with the clients once they have been diagnosed with an illness. You will be the communicator between the client and the consultants and ensure that all medical procedures and tests are booked smoothly. You will take feedback on results and reiterate to the client. A clear spoken voice and a professional manner and appearance is essential. This is a hands off role as a medical Co-Ordinator. Fantastic offices in Piccadilly, opportunity to travel and work with a forward thinking & expanding company.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
·Establishing a relationship with the patient, be acquainted with the medical case and represent the patient with external parties
·Assembling all the medical documents and information needed to manage the case, including medical secrecy waiver
·Securing the patient's rights, dignity and privacy, as well as his medical secrecy
·Ensuring the patient receives the level of service as specified in the company's service level agreement
·Guiding and providing information/explanation to the patient, when needed, & confirming that the patient receives and understands this medical information
·Providing ongoing reporting to both colleagues & management team
·Documenting all interactions with the patient in a computerized case management system as well as a CRM system
Knowledge & experience of the following is required:
·5-years practical & 'hands on' medical (RGN/Nurse) knowledge/experience - ideally hospital based
·MUST HAVE NMC pin
·Knowledge of health insurance policies and medical services
·Qualified to at least intermediate level in Microsoft Office products
·Ability to multi task & work well under pressure
