Staff Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) - Elderly Challenging Behaviour Nursing Home - Cannock, Staffordshire - Salary up to £15.50 per hour dependent on experience

As Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) within this service, you will play an integral role within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including a well experienced team of nursing staff. Working to provide the highest standards of care and as part of a team trained to understand challenging behaviour, being a keen team player is one of the most important factors in this role and the successful nurse would be expected to play their part within the dynamic of the team. The service is part of a larger healthcare provider and therefore ongoing training, support and potential for progression is part of the package you can enjoy.

Due to the nature of the needs' of the residents, this is a fast paced environment which calls for all team members to be reactive and work well under pressure. The health needs of the residents range from dementia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, and acquired brain injuries. This position is perfect for an experienced Nurse who enjoys working in a challenging and rewarding setting with the elderly. Each of the residents has an enduring mental health, dementia type diagnosis which means they exhibit episodes of challenging behaviour which is too severe to be appropriately cared for in an elderly nursing home.

-Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) qualified with relevant experience
-Experience working in a learning disability/enduring mental health setting
-Current and valid registration with the NMC and a legal right to work in the UK
