Priory Highbank Centre specialises in neuro-disability and male complex mental health services. Our dedicated multidisciplinary team offer excellent care, support and encouragement to help service users regain their maximum physical, emotional and social capabilities in an environment that offers individual care and positive outcomes.

We currently require an experienced RMN for our Robinson House Unit which is a 10 bedded male cognitive care unit.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, and be genuinely interested in team working.

You will have a sound clinical knowledge and experience of enduring mental health.

About the role

* Providing a high standard of responsive care to patients who require assistance with their activities of daily living

* Provide support and supervision to junior staff

* Work as part of an multi-disciplinary team contributing positively to ensure the implementation of patient-centred care

The role will require individuals to work flexibly undertaking shift work including nights and weekends.

This field can present challenges, therefore a full induction programme and extensive in- service training will be provided.

As well as providing outstanding treatment and care, we aim to deliver a service that's empowering for our patients. One in which we can support them in maximising the quality of their life in the least restrictive manner possible. So when you join our multi-disciplinary team, you'll work together to develop personalised, recovery-focused programmes and care pathways. Playing a vital leadership role on the ward, you'll also use your expertise and ideas to help us continually evolve best practice and set new standards both within the Priory Group and across the profession.

While you'll be RMN qualified and NMC registered, we'll be looking for a range of qualities that go beyond your qualifications and technical ability. Whether you are currently working elsewhere or returning to practice, you'll be patient centric with a commitment to delivering high quality care. Finely tuned decision-making skills, communication skills and organisational capacity are a must, while your flexibility and can-do attitude will enable our patients to build on their existing strengths and feel positive about their lives.
