We are looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our team on a Self Employed basis. Our West London OOH Service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS Patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP Surgery is closed. The service works across a variety of locations: • Hillingdon PCC, Hillingdon Hospital, Hillingdon • Hounslow PCC, West Middlesex Hospital, Hounslow • Harrow PCC, Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow • Southall 111 Service / Practice Assist All of the sites are open from 6.30pm – 8am Mon – Friday and 24 hours over weekends or bank holidays. This role would be considered on a Self Employed basis and we can be flexible to fit around you! We can also offer the opportunity to provide portfolio contracts where you can work across our other services too!
Is this you?You will need to be an autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner with experience ideally within a GP Practice or Primary Care Environment and hold a nurse prescribing qualification. On a day-to-day basis you will be required to deliver face-to-face or telephone advice to patients and to provide safe and effective health assessments and treatment of patients. You will also be required to diagnose, treat or discharge/refer patients who attend the Primary Care Centre, or who you visit in their own home. Essential Qualifications. • RGN. • Degree level / Postgraduate level ANP qualification • Evidence of recent study (PREP) • Recognised Nurse Prescribing Qualification • Postgraduate, e.g. ENB 998 Teaching /Mentorship course • BLS Working in our West London Out of Hours Service is both challenging and rewarding; it would suit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who has a flexible can-do approach and patient centric mind set. About Care UKCare UK are the largest independent provider of NHS Services in the country, delivering over 70 services throughout the UK. Care UK currently provides over 20 out-of-hours services across England. The out-of-hours services are for patients with an urgent need who cannot wait until surgery opening hours, and they operate Monday to Friday from 6.30pm to 8.30am, and for 24 hours at weekends and during bank holidays. The majority of the time, access to our out-of-hours service is via NHS 111. Patients are assessed and triaged over the phone, and may, at that point, be referred to the out of hours service. Our other healthcare services include treatment centres, GP Practices, NHS walk-in-centres, GP out-of-hours, prison health services and clinical assessment & diagnostic facilities. We work with the NHS to take healthcare services closer to where people live and work – increasing the efficiency and quality of the services we deliver and helping to reduce waiting times. We assess, diagnose and treat more than one million NHS patients every year, providing services which are free at the point of use.
In return we offer an hourly rate from £38 per hour - £49.40 per hour depending on experience and shifts/hours worked.
