A large care home located on the outskirts of Motherwell requires an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in elderly care to work as Deputy Manager.

This home offers elderly, disability and dementia care to older residents and during the most recent inspection was found to be meeting all statutory requirements.

Applicants should be RGN or RMN qualified with up to date NMC registration.

Previous experience in a senior role within an elderly care setting is essential and you will have strong managerial skills with a positive and proactive leadership style along with strong working knowledge of local authority and Care Inspectorate requirements and quality standards.

As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Service Manager to coordinate the clinical and operational management of the care home, effectively managing staff, budgets and resources.

You will undertake assessments and supervisions and will work to ensure high quality care is consistently delivered.

Working hours are 42 per week and the pay rate on offer is £15 to £16 per hour depending on experience.
