Hays are offering competitive rates to band 6 midwives to work in hospitals based in North West London.
Your new company
You'll be working within one of the largest NHS trusts' operating departments or day surgery units serving a population of 850,000. It is a large acute hospital trust, with four main hospitals as well as serving clinics across the following North West London regions: Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Richmond upon Thames, Barnet and Enfield.
Your new role
As a registered midwife you will be providing advice and support for patients and their babies during pregnancy. You will be working in multidisciplinary teams in a hospital setting where you will be carrying out examinations on patients and identifying high risk pregnancies.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 6 months current UK NHS experience working as a midwife.
The ability to adapt to different hospital environments.
Self-motivated, uses own initiative and excellent at making decisions.
Able to work under pressure and respond effectively to challenging situations.
Time management and effective delegation skills. In addition to the above you will need to have updated immunity against Hep B, Measles, Rubella, TB and Varicella
