A large elderly care service in Ilkeston requires an experienced Registered Nurse to work as Dementia Lead on a permanent basis.

This large service offers general nursing care to elderly service users along with offering specialist dementia and disability care.

Applicants for this Dementia Lead post should meet the following criteria;

• Registered Adult/General Nurse (RGN) or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with up to date NMC registration

• Highly experienced in elderly and dementia care, ideally having completed specialist post-registration studies in dementia care

• Experienced in a senior post with a proactive approach to the management of staff

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Committed to high quality nursing care

Working hours for this post are 40 per week on day shifts and the competitive pay rate is £16 per hour.
