Registered General Nurse
Salary: £16.50 - £17.00 per hour (£32,175 upwards)
Location: Shirley, Solihull (B90)
Shifts: Part Time or Full Time Available - long or short shifts
Earlies: 8am - 2.30pm, Lates: 2.30pm - 9pm, Nights: 9am - 7pm or 12 hour shifts (8am - 8pm)

This vibrant care community offers first class Dementia care, Nursing Care and Residential Care set among peaceful, landscaped gardens. The complex is easily assessable and is a short distance from the M42 with excellent transport links.
The site is an assisted living complex with residents living within the community pay significant amounts of money for their care; meaning clinical excellence and clinical governance are at the forefront of your work; patients often opt in to their care rather than needing regular care; so assessing and implementing care plans and care changes is a large bulk of the role providing variety to nurses working in the position.
You would be assisted by other highly experienced nurses on shift and you would have two support workers to aid you in your one to one patient care, alongside this you will have expertly trained medication technicians minimising medication errors.
We are looking for an experienced Registered General Nurse who have a passion for elderly care. At least a years' experience within this sector is vital, you will be a confident communicator and will be able to demonstrate leadership qualities when overseeing care staff.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Assess resident's health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
* Acting as lead nurse for a select few patients and managing your own portfolio of patients acting as a named nurse
* Assist in the delivery of care to meet individual's health and wellbeing needs
* Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
* Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
* Provide a comprehensive overview during hand over
* Regular family liaison for your named patients
Currently offering a market leading hourly rate of £16.00 - £17.00 per hour the contracted hours on offer range from 20 to 42 per week. You can choose between 12 hour shifts or shorter shifts which typically run as follows:
Earlies: 8am - 2pm
Lates: 2pm - 9pm
Nights: 9pm - 7am
Or as an alternative 12 hours shifts typically starting 8am - 8pm

Our client really do offer a unique, non-institutionalised, specialised approach to elderly care in luxurious hotel like surroundings. You will work with a select client group doing weekly and daily assessments based on care needs and you will provide one on one care with the assistance of a large and highly trained care team.
Clinical development is also important to a large national care provider so all staff are offered a clinical library on site which is updated and ran by clinical trainers, external training is offered alongside the company paying for all training throughout your career with management succession programmes on off also.
