Role: Unit Manager – Elderly Nursing Home

Registration: RGN, RMN or RNLD

Environment: Elderly Nursing Home for ages 65+

Location: East Preston, West Sussex

Salary: £36 582 per annum

Selection Recruitment are currently working with a large sized elderly nursing home in East Preston, West Sussex to find a Unit Manager, RGN/RMN or RNLD.

This privately owned home in East Preston, West Sussex is run by one of the largest operators of care homes in the United Kingdom, and caters for elderly residents aged 65 plus primarily with dementia and physical disability issues.

The benefits of this role include:

- Salary of £36 582 per annum

- 36 hours per week

- Permanent day shifts (Monday till Friday)

- 5.6 weeks’ annual leave entitlement

- Easily commutable from around Arundel, Bognor Regis, Chichester, Lancing, Shoreham-by-Sea and Worthing

Due to the nature of this service, the successful applicant for this Unit Manager role in East Preston, West Sussex will need to be a Registered Nurse RGN/RMN or RNLD with a strong track record in dementia care.

This is a great opportunity for a Unit Manager RGN/RMN or RNLD looking to join a forward-thinking company committed to providing exceptional levels of elderly nursing care in the town East Preston, West Sussex. Due to the nature of this position, experience in a comparable environment providing care for older adults with general nursing needs and dementia would be advantageous.

The successful applicant for this Unit Manager RGN/RMN or RNLD role will:

- Be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) with a current, valid NMC pin

- Have a good track record in elderly care

- Ability to delegate responsibilities

- Be willing and able to provide two references and undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure
