General skills required by a nurse:
Excellent communication and people skills
Knowledge of NMC code and ethics
Sound clinical background
At least one years' experience
Ability to recognise deterioration in a patient and escalate promptly within a multi-disciplinary team
Qualifications required for this role:
A Nursing degree
Full NMC registration
Minimum of one year of experience in nursing for a general ward and additional year's experience in area of speciality
