Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse - General Nursing Unit

£13.00 - £13.50 for newly qualified nurses £14.00 - 15.00 per hour for experienced nurses

One of the industry's well established care groups has opened up a stunning new care facility near West Bridgford, Nottingham worth £7 million in total, with a rapid increase in bed occupancy they are now looking for Staff Nurses and Senior Staff Nurses (RGN qualified) to join them on their journey and deliver high end clinical care on their General Nursing Unit.
With two general nursing units one leans more towards palliative and elderly general nursing care and the other unit compromises of intermediate care; in partnership with the CCG they take patients on a 8 week basis requiring general nursing care but able to rehabilitate back into the community from long hospital stays.
The purpose built 80 bedded facility is simply impressive, offering industry leading chefs and a hotel like environment for residents and an excellent working environment for nurses with an array of care staff and fantastic benefits with future career opportunity.
The company genuinely offer support and guidance during your time here and promote personal development, they have three nursing units on site a specialist dementia unit, an intermediate care unit and a general nursing unit all with a highly skilled and multi-faceted team.
This particular opportunity is being the named nurse for a few residents with a variety of general nursing needs to aid a highly experienced unit manager and a team of skilled nurses in the delivery of clinical excellence.

The company offer a comprehensive training programme for general nurses and promote upskilling before starting the role with all training paid for by the company. All training is offered before commencing the role by external qualified trainers and ongoing supervision and support by a well experienced nursing team moving forward; you can expect a 2 week induction programme including training and supervision.
One to one care is the focus in this facility as it's a new build and is rapidly filling to full occupancy; the manager is long standing and supportive meaning you will be given the autonomy in your role to make clinical decisions and will be supported to boost your clinical knowledge alongside being on a staff succession programme so you can monitor your progress and development within the company.
