Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Senior Sister / Senior Charge Nurse for our private hospital clients successful paediatric facility in London.

The successful candidate will be a NMC Registered Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse - Children with significant post-registration experience.

You will need to have significant experience of working with Paediatric patients in either Cardiac or Oncology settings. You will have proven and demonstrable experience as a nursing manager in an acute paediatric setting, Knowledge of the administration of intrathecal drugs, central venous access management, chemotherapy administration and chest drain management is a must as well as previous leadership and organisational skills and strong staff management skills including the ability to delegate and prioritise as well as supervise colleagues and lead education.

The role is a key role in this private hospital in London's medical district. You will be providing clinical leadership, expertise, advise and support to the nursing team in the paediatric services in the hospital. You will be responsible for the Day Unit team and reporting to the Matron on activity and nursing care.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. There will be some weekend working, as the unit does operate on Saturday's, but is not too onerous.

The hospital is situated in Central London and is well connected to public transport options to and from Zone 1.

Salary for the role is between £44,152 - £49,671 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the role.
