Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Deputy Sister / Charge Nurse (RGN) - Orthopaedics working for our client based in London on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC Registered General Nurse - Adult and have significant post-registration experience.
You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; you will have significant experience of working in an acute orthopaedics inpatient setting. You will be either working at a top band 5 level or already working at a Band 6 level and looking for a change. You will have experience of leading a nursing team. You will hold a mentorship qualification.

We are also looking for the following desirable skills, but are not essential for the position; an orthopaedic course, educated to degree level and experience in private sector hospital.

The hospital is a well known private hospital in Central London with 155 beds. The role is working in an 18 Bedded Ward specialises in Orthopaedics, including Spinal Injections and Surgery and Trauma as well as some General surgery. Excellent Staff to Patient Ratio where staff work predominantly long days as well as some shifts. As a Deputy Sister / Charge Nurse you will help leading the nursing team when you are on shift

This is a Full-time Permanent position working 37.5 per week working in London.

The salary for this position is between £38,871 and £41,282 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position.
