Salary: Circa £90,000 - £100,000 pro rata
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and capable Occupational Health Physician based in Manchesteron a permanent full time basis.
My client is a successful and growing Occupational Health provider who works with all kinds of employers and prides themselves on their expert medical advice, dynamic health promotion campaigns and onsite clinical support all as part of a highly personalised service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Health Physician to provide excellent Occupational Health services to a range of client organisations.
As the Occupational Health Physician you will be based in Manchester in an autonomous position delivering a comprehensive and effective Occupational Health service ensuring that high professional standards and quality standards are maintained on a consistent basis.
You may also be required to make regular client visits around Manchester
You will be expected to deal with Occupational Health issues for employers from pre-employment through sickness and absence management to ill health retirement, as well as provide clinical and medical advice.
You will undertake predominantly management referrals and conduct clinical assessments such as absence and rehabilitation medical assessments, health surveillance and pre-employment medicals.
In this Occupational Health Physician role you will also offer strategic support for health promotion and wellness when required.
You would also be expected to offer recommendations and operational advice and assist with some clinical governance. As an Occupational Health Physician you will act as CMO on the contracts you work on advising on policy, general health advice and absence management strategies.
You will ensure compliance with procedures and ensure standards are met as well as preparing/ reviewing Occupational Health policies and procedures.
To be successful in this Occupational Health Physician role you are required to be GMC registered and preferably MFOM, but a minimum of a diploma in Occupational Medicine will be considered,
