An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager in Lytham, the nursing home is set in a stunning location nestled between sand dunes on the shore line. One of the most recognizable landmarks on the Flyde coast, the turn of the century building has been recently renovated so enjoys a purpose built extension and state of the art facilities second to none. The organisation is a regional provider of care services, providing excellent standards of care across the North West.
The position calls for someone with past experience of working in elderly care, ideally some of that experience should be in palliative care as the home has close links with a local hospice. The home is working towards the ‘Gold Standards Framework’, with the expectation of eventually securing the much coveted ‘Beacon Award’. As a Deputy Matron you will play a pivotal role in helping the home achieve this. The role will be hands on, clinical based you will spend most of your time on the floor helping to supervise care and staff. You don’t necessarily have to have past management experience, what matters most is enthusiasm and dedication.
My client is seeking an experienced registered nurse who is strong in the areas of care assistant supervision and team work with exceptional clinical standards and who loves to be busy. You will be required to be reasonably flexible with working times, take on nurse in charge shift duties and maintain clinical standards. As an employee you must have a professional and friendly demeanor and take pride from your work and your company.
The successful candidate will:
• Be a Registered General Nurse
• Have Excellent Communication Skills
• Have a Friendly & Approachable Manner
