| Faculty of Health and Human Sciences The Faculty of Health and Human Sciences is a major provider of nursing, midwifery and health-related courses in the West London and Berkshire areas. TVU is in the top 10 for nursing courses in the Guardian University Guide 2009. The aim of the Faculty of Health and Human Sciences is to produce confident, competent and reflective practitioners who engage in evidence-based practice, are skilled in using change constructively and who make a positive impact in health and social care. Having studied with us, you will have a reputation for the quality of your practice and your commitment to caring. The Faculty of Health and Human Sciences has its origins in the establishment of the Wolfson School of Health Sciences within Thames Valley University (TVU) in 1994. The Faculty brought together a number of schools and colleges of nursing and midwifery, including Queen Charlotte's College. The coming together of these schools and colleges of nursing and midwifery meant that TVU became one of the largest providers of nursing and midwifery courses in the country. |
